KOH-I-NOOR HARDTMUTH is famous Czech brand manufacturing pencils and art supplies. Founded in Vienna in 1790 by Josef Hardtmuth, Koh-I-Noor relocated to Ceske Budejovice in Czech Republic in 1848. At 1889 World Fair in Paris, the Hardtmuth’s displayed their pencils where each pencil was encased in a yellow cedar-wood casing, which became international standard for all type of pencils.
